Hôtel Saluces

Rue de la Martille

A charming private hotel in the heart of Salers

The 16th century private residence of the Marquis de Lur Saluces, governor of Salers, now totally refurbished as a small hotel with simple decor using natural materials such as marble, slate, wrought iron and cement tiles.

Offering a blend of authenticity and modernity with restrained lines, the Hôtel Saluces has eight rooms, each different from the others both in size, and in terms of their character and decor, created by Jeanne and Daniel through the use of colours, fabrics and items of period furniture.

After a good night's rest you can enjoy your breakfast (including home-made preserves) among the flowers and greenery of the peaceful interior garden, or, if you prefer, in the large ground-floor Louis XV room with its huge traditional Cantal-style fireplace and its old cupboards.

In the afternoon, our tearoom will be delighted to serve those of you who love pastries a selection of our homemade flans or other cakes accompanied by our special teas from the very best estates.

As you will by now realise, the Hôtel Saluces is a place of authentic charm and refinement, offering a warm family welcome to its guests.
